Carol Grant

Mrs. Carol Bunton Grant, 62, of Meggett, entered into rest Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Roper Hospital.

Born May 13, 1958 in Columbia, she was a daughter of Karen Joan Steffens Bunton and the late Randolph Leonard Bunton, Sr.  She was a Registered Nurse who specialized in many areas but was most proud of the work she did with Home Health through St. Francis Hospital.  She was also a minister for five years with the United Methodist Church-McClellanville Charge.  She was a member of Sandy Dam United Methodist Church.  Her proudest accomplishment in life was becoming a mother to Heather.  Carol was known for her big heart and will be missed by all.

Surviving are: her husband of 43 years, David S. Grant of Meggett; mother, Karen Joan Bunton of Walterboro; daughter, Heather Brianna Grant of Meggett; sister, Susan Bunton Haynes and her husband Thomas of Williamsburg, Virginia; brother, Randolph L. Bunton, Jr. and his wife Cindy of Yonges Island; grandchildren, David Elijah Chase and Halie Savanna Chase; 3 nieces; and 1 nephew.

Graveside funeral services will be held 1 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, December 12, 2020 at Sandy Dam United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3422 Charleston Highway, Walterboro.
