Camile Anne Bishop-Contreras, affectionately known as Cammie, age 37, of Walterboro, entered into rest Saturday evening, January 31, 2015.
Funeral services will be conducted 6 oclock Saturday evening, February 7, 2015, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony for a time of visitation until 8 oclock that evening.
Born August 17, 1977 in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Mrs. Gail Parham Bishop and the late Dr. Ralph James Jim Bishop, Jr. Following in the tradition of her dad, the medical field was her passion leading her to work as an office manager in various private medical practices throughout the Lowcountry. Cammies greatest love and trust devotion in life was her daughter. She loved her family and will always be remembered for the love, devotion, and care she provided. She was a member of Old Fort Baptist Church in Summerville.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Walterboro are: her daughter, Emma Anne Contreras; and eight siblings, Ralph James Bishop, III, Jeffrey Vance Bishop, Whitney Lee Bishop, Tracey Spearman Bishop, Lori Gail Barnes, Amee Ellen Meetze, Lisa Lynn Bishop, and Amber Leigh Bishop. She is also survived by a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
