Cameron Michael Cribb, 16, of Beaufort, entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Born May 21, 2004 in Statesboro, Georgia, he was the son of Candice Cribb and the late Johnathan Sheffield. Cameron enjoyed going to the gym, playing basketball, listening to music, and like most teenagers, loved talking on the phone with his friends. He was known as a clown, always making everyone laugh. Most of all, Cameron was someone who had a big heart and wanted to do anything he could to help someone else. As a donor, Cameron gave in death as he did in life, the most precious gift anyone could give, to save six lives of his fellow man.
Surviving are: his parents, Candice Cribb and Ron Wooten of Beaufort; sister, Taylor Wooten of Beaufort; brother, Dyson Wooten of Beaufort; grandparents, Sonya Herring and her husband Mike of Monroe, Georgia, Barbara Williams of Sylvania, Georgia, Rhonda Anderson Howell of Sylvania, Georgia, and Donna Wooten of Nixville; aunts, Tabitha Simmons and her husband Mitch of Oliver, Georgia and Kathy McMillan of Ohio; uncle, Jeremy Sheffield of Newington, Georgia; cousins, Samantha Simmons and Carly Weathers; and his best friend that he loved like a brother, Kevin Rosa of Atlanta, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 6 o’clock, Wednesday evening, February 3, 2021 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel with Reverend Charles Moore officiating.
