Buddy Reynolds

Mr. Robert “Buddy” Reynolds, age 72, of Peniel Road, Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Tuesday afternoon, March 22, 2016, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  He was the loving husband of forty-seven years to the late Mrs. Irene Ginn Reynolds.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 o’clock Friday afternoon, March 25, 2016, from Pine Grove Baptist Church No. 1, 99 Pine Grove Road, Walterboro.   The Reverend Ken McCaskill officiating.  Interment will follow in the churchyard.

Born January 16, 1944, a native of Edgefield, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Robert E. Reynolds and the late Irene Shaw Reynolds.   He retired from South Carolina Electric and Gas where he was a control room operator at their Canadys Plant.  A faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, No. 1, he was faithful in many aspects of the church’s work, always present, and always willing to help where needed.  He dearly loved drag racing with his two boys and enjoyed sports of all types.  He will always be remembered by his family and others as a loving Dad, Poppa, and B-Pop.

Surviving are: two sons, Keith Reynolds and his wife Donna and Brad Reynolds all of Walterboro; four grandchildren, Dalton Reynolds and his wife Heather, Hayden Reynolds, Callah Reynolds, and Ashton Reynolds; and two great grandchildren, Gavin Reynolds and Kaitley Reynolds.
