Mr. Barney Sylvester Kinsey, Jr., affectionately known to all as "Buck", 75, of Tika Street, Walterboro, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Colleton Medical Center.
A graveside funeral service will be held 3 pm, Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Mr. Kinsey was born March 3, 1937 in Colleton County and was a son of the late Barney Sylvester Kinsey, Sr. and Inez Padgett Kinsey Strickland. He was the owner of Buck Kinsey Trucking and worked for Williams Farms. His greatest passion in life was driving his truck and working for Williams Farms. He also loved NASCAR.
Surviving are: his wife, Doris Ann Davis Kinsey of Walterboro; daughters, Darla Beach of Walterboro, Lisa Smoak of Walterboro, Carla Kinsey of Patterson, New Jersey and Ginger Armentrout of Walterboro; sisters, Sarah Reeves of Walterboro and Jetta Mae Matthews of Pequannock, New Jersey; step-sons, Pete Beckett of Smoaks and Joe Beckett of Walterboro; one he loved as a son, William Anthony Williams of Lodge; special friends, Jimmy and Faye Williams of Lodge; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step-son, Johnny Beckett; and a step-daughter, Tika Beckett Patterson.
