Biography

Mr. Bruce Dean Waterman, 69, of Running Creek Lane, Cottageville, entered into rest Saturday morning, August 9, 2014, at the Ralph H. Johnson Veteran's Administration Hospital in Charleston.

Born December 20, 1944, a son of the late Marion Waterman and the late Deloris Hall, he was a native of Olivet, Michigan having made the Lowcountry of South Carolina his home since 1999. He served our country in the United States Navy and was a retired foreman from the heating and air-conditioning industry. He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and he was also a huge sports fan, always enjoying Nascar races and football.

Surviving are: his wife of forty-one years, Mrs. Dorothy Still Waterman; a daughter, Teresa Lynn Waterman of Cottageville; a son, James Dean Waterman of Marshall, Michigan; three brothers, James C. Hall, John Hall, Mark Hall; and a sister, Darlene Watson. There are five grandchildren and five great grandchildren that also survive. He was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth Gerald Wade and Bobby Edward Wade; a grandchild; and a brother, Gary Dilts.
