Brenda Blevins Tompkins

Brenda Blevins Tompkins, 69, of Hampton, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at her residence.

Mrs. Brenda was a caring, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and her family completed her life.  Over many years she worked hard to support her family.  She was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord and she always enjoyed singing in church.

She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Blevins (Dorothy) and Samuel Cory Blevins; her daughters, Anisha Garvin (Nelson) and Amber Blevins; grandchildren, Rowan Smyly, Coral McCaskey, Logan Thomas, Wade Thomas, Michael Blevins, Leslie Terry, April DeLoach, Christopher Nettles, Kelsie Blevins and Jessica Sheppard; great-grandchildren, Isaac McCaskey, Emily McCaskey, Charity Malphras, Oliver Blevins, Vance Nettles, Lexy Stanley, Bradley Nettles, Lauren Terry, Emma Terry, Alexis Clifton, Jaylee McAlhaney and Emmerson Malphras.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: a brother, Danny Lee Pyles and a grand-daughter, Hannah Stanley.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
