Brenda Hollenbeck

Mrs. Brenda Peebles Hollenbeck, 81, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Tuesday morning, June 23, 2026, at Colleton Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Bernard “Tony” Hollenbeck.

Born July 31, 1944, in Sheffield, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Luke Peebles and Reba Box Peebles. She retired from Robert Bosch Corporation. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she enjoyed working with Vacation Bible School and had attended a mission trip to West Virginia with her church family. Mrs. Hollenbeck was a member of the Red Hat Society, loved fishing, and in past years had attended Glory Bound Ministries.

Surviving are: her children, Angie Davis (Frankie) of Round O, Tracy Cooper (Susan) of Summerville, Cyndie Roberson (Matthew) of Canadys, KR Forsyth of Walterboro, Dale Hollenbeck (Angela) of New York, and Bert Hollenbeck of Florida; sister, Pamela England of Walterboro; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Rusty Wayne Cooper; her granddaughter, Antoinette; and four siblings, Clyde Peebles, MGYSGT Byron Joe Peebles, Ret., Kevin Wayne Peebles, and Helen Faye Palmer.

A memorial service will be held 5 o’clock, Monday afternoon, June 29, 2026, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 12898 Round O Road, Round O.
