Brenda Dandrdige

Mrs. Brenda Grooms Dandridge, 69, of Summerville, entered into eternal rest Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  She was the wife of the late Eddie Dandridge.

Born January 23, 1952 in Summerville, she was a daughter of Joyce Reeves Grooms and the late Vernie Grooms.  She retired from retail sales.  She enjoyed planting flowers and gardening, watching the hummingbirds, and spending time with her family.  Brenda was always there to help other people even when it may have been inconvenient to her.

Surviving are: her mother, Joyce Grooms of Adams Run; sons, Anthony Dandridge and his wife Tammy and Richard Dandridge; grandchildren, Tyler Dandridge, Justin Dandridge, Josh Dandridge, and Damien Dandridge; great grandson, Thomas Dandridge; and many nieces and nephews.    She was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy Ann Smoak and Melva Jane Grooms; and two brothers, Tracy “Buck” Grooms and David Vernie Grooms.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Sunday afternoon, October 16, 2022 at Gruber Cemetery, Round O.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 o’clock at the cemetery.
