WALTERBORO- Ms. Brenda Hiers Rahn Bailey, 47, of Walterboro entered into eternal rest Friday, September 12, 2008 in Colleton County.
Funeral services will be held 3 oclock, Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at The Brice W. Herndon & Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Ms. Bailey was born July 12, 1961 in Colleton County and was a daughter of Luther Eugene Hiers and Doris Moore Hiers. She was currently employed with Advance Auto Parts in Walterboro and was a member of Walterboro Church of God of Prophecy. She will be remembered for her love of going to the beach and local rivers, where she always enjoyed riding her jet-ski. Her memory will live on for her heart of gold and always doing something special to ensure the happiness of those she loved. She possessed a special love for her family and her cat, Sophie.
Surviving are: her mother, Doris Moore Hiers of Walterboro; father and step-mother, Gene and Miriam Hiers of Smoaks; children, Keith Rahn, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Walterboro and Ashley Rahn of Walterboro; grandmother, Hazel Evans of Walterboro; sisters, Judy Williams of Sweetwater, Tennessee and Vicky Hiers of Summerville; and brother, Gene Hiers, Jr. of Columbia. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Cody Davis, Tracy Rahn, Aspen Davis, and Kaine Rahn; former husbands, Keith Rahn, Sr. of Summerville and Bobby Bailey of Walterboro; niece, Jennifer Lemacks of Greenwood; and a nephew, Jimmy Lemacks of Loudon, Tennessee.
