Brenda Ashley

Ms. Brenda Sue Ashley, 53, of Ruffin, entered into eternal rest Sunday morning, August 7, 2022 at Trident Medical Center.

Born February 20, 1969 in Anderson, she was a daughter of Arthur Levi “Pete” Ashley and the late Melba Brown Ashley.  She was a graduate of Ruffin High School and was a waitress.  Brenda loved owls and was a great story-teller.  She loved her family fiercely, always protecting them, caring for them, and loved surprising them with small gifts when she found something she knew they would like.

Surviving are: her father, Pete Ashley of Ruffin; sons, Ryan Ashley and his wife Michele of Hampton, Cameron Ashley of Walterboro and Jacob Sauls of Hampton; grandsons, Carter Ashely, Elijah “Eli” Ashley, and Owen Ashley; sister, Tammy Ashley Beckett of Ruffin; and brother, Kenneth Ashley of Ruffin.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
