Biography
Mr. Brannan "Bang" Thomas Collins, 69, of Ehrhardt Road, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 28, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Ehrhardt-Bamberg Chapel. Interment will follow in Ehrhardt Cemetery.
Mr. Collins was born March 2, 1942 in Bunnell, Florida and was a son of the late Melvin Ray Collins and Louise Claxton Collins. He was the retired Vice President of Harvesting for Golden Gem Growers and owner of Bang's Paradise Valley Hunting Club. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Umatilla, Florida.
Surviving are: his wife of 25 years, Barbara Hauser Collins; children, Brannan Thomas Collins, Jr. and his wife Dianne, Sandi Ouellet and her husband Patrick, Stephanie Stapelfeldt and her husband Mark, and Morgan Miller; brother, Melvin Collins; eight grandchildren; and one great grandson.
