Mr. Blayne Michael George, 57, of Smoaks, entered into eternal rest Saturday evening, December 7, 2024, at Bamberg/Barnwell Emergency Medical Center in Denmark.
Born January 3, 1967, in Bamberg, he was the son of Bobby George and Dixie Wimberly George. He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson Academy, Class of 1985. For many years he worked at White Hall Plantation and most recently worked alongside his family at B&D Bar-B-Que in Smoaks. He enjoyed deer hunting, turkey hunting, and fishing. He loved NASCAR Racing and football and was an avid Dale Earnhardt and Carolina Gamecocks fan.
Surviving are: his parents Bobby and Dixie George of Smoaks; his children, Pressley G. Black and Holden M. George; granddaughter, Cameron E. Black; sister, Deanne G. Fender and her husband Donny; aunt, Mickey Thomas; and cousins, Gidget Peterson and Dean Thomas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Cameron Wimberly, and Joe and Irene George; and an uncle, Jimmy Thomas.

Graveside services will be held 2 o’clock, Thursday afternoon, December 12, 2024, at Little Swamp United Methodist Church Cemetery, 17465 Hunters Chapel Road, Smoaks.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
