Mr. Billy Randolph Fennell, 71, of 1405 Luray Highway, Hampton, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Hampton Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. He was the husband of the late Elaine Foster Fennell.
Funeral services will be held 4 pm, Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will be held privately.
Mr. Fennell was born July 13, 1938 in Hampton County and was a son of the late Charles William Fennell and Edith Aleane Smith Fennell. He attended school in Hampton until joining the United States Air Force with a friend. He was then employed by Westinghouse and Scotsman until he retired. He was a faithful and dedicated member of the Hampton Congregation Jehovahs Witnesses for over 50 years.
Surviving are: his children, Ronald R. Fennell, April F. Terry and Julie F. Moseley and her husband Steve, all of Hampton; grandchildren, Craig Fennell and Christina Terry, both of Hampton; sisters, Margaret F. Smith and her husband Bobby of Grays and Mary F. Gooding and her husband Sam of Hampton; and brothers, Charles W. Fennell and his wife Rosa Lee and Clyde E. Fennell and his wife Sonja, all of Hampton.
