Mrs. Beverly Elkin Fralick, 68, of 137 Dowling Avenue, Walterboro, entered into her state of eternal rest Friday morning, April 2, 2010, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.



Funeral services will be conducted 2 oclock Monday afternoon, April 5, 2010, from the First Baptist Church of Walterboro, 124 South Memorial Avenue, Walterboro, with The Reverend Dr. Randy Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.



Mrs. Fralick was born August 27, 1941, in Asheville, North Carolina, but was reared in Barnwell, South Carolina, and was a daughter of the late Albert Louie Elkin and the late Jewel Woodward Elkin. She worked for many years as an office manager for Robert Marvin and Associates in Walterboro and retired from Edward Jones Investment Brokers in Orangeburg as a branch office assistant in 2008. She and her husband both were active at First Baptist Church of Walterboro where she sang with the Sanctuary Choir. For six years, they lived at The Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg where she sang in the choir as well as was active in many other aspects of the communitys functions and work. She will be fondly remembered for the love she possessed for her cats, reading, and fishing.



Surviving are: her husband, Mr. Olin Harvey Fralick, Jr.; two children, Alesa Craven Murdaugh and her husband Curt of Round O and Rusty Craven and his wife Ronda of Round O; three step-children, Nancy Regina Bell of Rock Hill, Robert Olin Fralick of Rock Hill, Chris Fralick and his wife Tami of Summerville; and a sister, Mary Elkin Galyon and her husband John of Greensboro, North Carolina. There are four grandchildren, Allie and Samantha Murdaugh and Laura and Joshua Craven; as well as four step-grandchildren, Teddy Trout, Laura Trout, Hunter Fralick, and Jenna Fralick.



Flowers will be accepted, or for those that wish, the family has suggested that memorial contributions be directed in her memory to the following: Connie Maxwell Childrens Home Post Office Box 1178, Greenwood, South Carolina 29648-1178; or to, Epworth Childrens Home, Post Office Box 50466, Columbia, South Carolina 29250; or to, First Baptist Church of Walterboro, 124 South Memorial Ave, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488; or to, Providence United Methodist Church, care of Mrs. Teresa Roberson, 13909 Augusta Highway, Round O, South Carolina 29474.
