Beverly Hiers Fisk

Mrs. Beverly Hiers Fisk, 77, entered into rest Monday, January 1, 2018, at her home in Lodge.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon, January 4, 2018, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Ehrhardt with the Reverend Mike Reid officiating. The body will be placed in the chapel at 1 o’clock. Interment will be in Ehrhardt Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at St. Johns Baptist Church Social Hall after the interment for a time of fellowship.
Born February 5, 1940, in Ehrhardt, she was the youngest child of the late Bradley Carroll Hiers and the late Agnes Peters Hiers. A graduate Ehrhardt High School and the Brooks Floral School in Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Fisk owned and operated Ehrhardt Flower Shop. She retired after many years of creating beautiful flower arrangements for all occasions which were enjoyed by many throughout her community. A member of St. Johns Baptist Church in Ehrhardt, she also attended and was active in Grace Baptist Church in Hampton.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. John Derrell Fisk and her brother Alyea Hiers (Barbara Ann) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Carroll Bradley Hiers, Jacob Albert Hiers, Percy LeRoy Hiers, James Everett Hiers, and Franklin Hiers; Sisters: Catherine Hiers, Althea Stevenson, Mary Louise Parnell, Florine Viola Fogle, Margaret Rawl, and Angelia Breland.
