Biography

Mrs. Bettyanne Field Soltesz, 74, of Cottageville, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at her residence.

Born January 30, 1936 in Essex County, CT, Bettyanne lived most of her life in Wallingford, CT and retired to Cottageville SC. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Soltez Sr., who loves her, and will miss her every day. In her lifetime she raised, and is survived by her seven children Margo Jacobowitz, Lawrence Soltesz Jr., Danny Soltesz Sr., Joanne Ross who lived with and cared for her, Allan Soltesz Sr., Julie Soltesz, and Penny Martorelli. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Bettyanne is remembered by her family as a caring woman who enjoyed yodeling, playing the guitar, listening to Elivs, and taking rides to Georgia with her husband every Saturday.

Bettyanne's death is a sad event for all those who knew her, but it was not unexpected. She was cared for and supported by her husband, her children, and hospice until she was ready to go home to glory. Thank you for your prayers to the family.
