Betty Bazzle Kinard

Mrs. Betty Ruth Kinard, 68, of Klein Street in Walterboro, entered into rest Thursday evening, November 6, 2014, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, November 9, 2014, from Bedon Baptist Church, 2410 Cottageville Highway, Walterboro. The Reverend Eric Bjork officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral ceremony beginning at 1 o’clock that afternoon in the church sanctuary.

Born January 22, 1946, a native of Colleton County, she was a daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Price Bazzle and the late Mr. Isaiah Bazzle. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Walterboro. She will always be remembered for the love she possessed of her family, always centering her life around her children and grandchildren whom she adored.

Surviving are: a son, Barry Michael Kinard and his wife Joy of Abbeville; a daughter, Christy K. Crosby and her husband Michael of Walterboro; a brother, Robert Bazzle of Summerville; two sisters, Irene Spell and Vera Bazzle both of Walterboro. There are six grandchildren, Jordan Isiah Kinard, Riley Douglas Kinard, Kendra Nicole Kinard, Hope Elizabeth Crosby, Emmie Josie Crosby, Michaelann Crosby.
