Betty Ann Cheever

Mrs. Betty Ann Bazzle Cheever, 82, of Hanahan, entered into rest Monday morning, April 28, 2025, at Roper Hospital in Charleston.   She was the loving wife of over forty years to the late Mr. Donald Lee Cheever, Sr.

Born August 26, 1942, in Round O, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred W. Bazzle and the late Minnie Lee Colson Bazzle.  She was a devoted homemaker and was a member of Oakley Road Ministries.

Surviving are: two children, Wilfred Cambron (Connie) of Hanahan and Donald Cheever, Jr. (Robin) of Moncks Corner, a sister, Bea Coker of Hanahan; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Widener.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Thursday afternoon, May 1, 2025, from the Chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston.  Pastor Lacy Jones officiating.    Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park located on the grounds of the funeral home.   The family will receive friends prior to the funeral ceremony that morning beginning at 11 o’clock at the funeral home.
