Bernard Stanley

Mr. Bernard Horace Stanley, 73, of Hampton County, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Trident Medical Center.

Born March 21, 1947 in Hampton County, he was the son of the late Horace Washington Stanley and Iva Lee Shaffer Stanley.  Mr. Stanley was a retired lineman from Palmetto Electric Cooperative.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed farming, hunting, and fishing.  He dearly loved his family and always made sure they were taken care of.

Surviving are: his nieces and nephew, Jennifer Shuman, Janice Vincent and Kent Jarrell and his wife Leslie; and great nieces and nephews, Evan Broxton, Ryan Vincent, Erin McGugan, and Brooke Jarrell.  He was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Shuman and Patricia DeWitt.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Salkehatchie Road, Early Branch.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
