Benny Martinez, Sr.

Mr. Benjamin “Benny” Martinez, Sr., 80, of Walterboro, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Fela Rachel Torres Martinez.
Graveside funeral services will be held 3 pm, Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Martinez was born May 19, 1935 in Winslow, Arizona. He served his country faithfully and retired from the United States Navy. He will always be remembered as a loving father and good provider for his family.
Surviving are: his children, Benjamin Martinez, Jr. of Walterboro, Robert Gene Martinez of North Charleston and Constance Martinez Brown of Walterboro; grandchildren, Rachel Marie Martinez and Benjamin David Brown; and his dog and faithful companion, Snookie.
