Biography
Mrs. Beneta Ulmer Clark Walker, 87, of Ruffin, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 2, 2014 at Pruitt Health in Walterboro. She was first married to the late Aubrey L. Clark and secondly to the late Heyward Walker.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Tabor United Methodist Church, Bells Highway, Ruffin.
Born February 18, 1927 in Colleton County, SC and was a daughter of the late James Breland Ulmer and Della Cora Crosby Ulmer. She was a retired sales clerk from Thompson's Dime Store in Main Street in Walterboro. She was the oldest member of Tabor United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Women's Missionary Society. Mrs. Beneta loved working in her yard and with her flowers.
Surviving are: her daughter, Patricia Reagan of Chester; brother, Marshall Ulmer of Ruffin; grandchildren, Thomas L. Clark, Kimberly Byars and Anna Reagan Holley; great grandchildren, Meredith Byars, Reagan Miller and Rebecca Clark; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Aubrey L. Clark, Jr.
