Mr. Ben Franklin Warren, Jr., 80, of Walterboro, entered into rest Monday afternoon, December 19, 2016, at the Pruitt Health Care Center in Walterboro.
Born in Walterboro, he was a son of the late Ben Warren Sr. and the late Martha Louise Dunn Warren. He served in the South Carolina National Guard and retired after almost twenty-eight years of service to the Charleston Naval Shipyard as a welder supervisor. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Walterboro. Ben will forever be remembered for his love of the outdoors and spending time in his yards.
Surviving are: his wife of forty-nine years, Mrs. Mary Julia Crosby Warren; a son, Michael S. Warren of Walterboro; and two grandchildren, Kaylee Elizabeth Warren and Brandon Kyle Warren. He was preceded in death by a son, Eric Scott Warren.
A memorial service will be held at a later day.
