Biography
Mr. C. Baynard Drawdy, affectionately known to everyone as "Ben", 69, of Walterboro, died Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Colleton Medical Center.
Mr. Drawdy was born March 29, 1942 in Walterboro and was a son of the late Charles Drawdy and Annie Colson Drawdy McCaskill. He was an avid hunter and especially loved hunting bear and deer, was an avid fisherman, enjoyed taking trips to the mountains, and loved his family dearly.
Surviving are: his children, C.B. "Benny" Drawdy, Jr. and his wife Georgia of Moncks Corner, James M. "Jimmy" Drawdy and his wife Patty of Brunson, Richard M. "Ricky" Drawdy and his wife Karen of Hanahan, Cheerie Drawdy of Walterboro, Kevin Drawdy of Walterboro, Kim Drawdy of Walterboro, Chasity Hiott and Clinton Hiott; brother, Vernon L. "Skip" Drawdy and his wife Judy of North Charleston; sister, Ann D. Drawdy of Walterboro; half sister, BJ Rodgers and her husband Jim of Goose Creek; traveling companion and best friend, D.W. Crosby of Cottageville; several nieces and nephews; 15 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
