Benjamin Clarence Cook, III, 62, of Early Branch, entered into eternal rest Sunday evening, January 12, 2025, at Trident Medical Center.
Born March 30, 1962, in Hampton, he was a son of the late Benjamin Clarence Cook, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Hay Cook.
Surviving are: his faithful companion and friend, June Gibson of Early Branch; his children, Larry Cook, Benjamin Crapse, and Elizabeth Gail Cook; many grandchildren; brother, Eugene Cook; and sisters, Brenda Belger and Malinda Ann Cook. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Karen Angulo and Sandra Goldenberg.
Funeral services will be held 3 o’clock, Sunday, January 19, 2025, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will follow in Crews-Cook Cemetery, Crews Cemetery Road, Varnville.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation Sunday afternoon from 2 o’clock until the hour of service at The Brice Herndon Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel.
