Beatrice Blanton

Beatrice Adams Blanton, widow of the late Reverend Demauth Blanton, died March 14, 2025.  She was the daughter of William and Cornelia Adams.  She was a graduate of Mars Hill Junior College and Wake Forest College.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenville, South Carolina.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Paul Blanton and Dr. Mary Boggiano, and a daughter, Anna Blanton; and two grandchildren, Colin Blanton and Martha Blanton, and their mother, Mary Frances Thetford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Union County Meals on Wheels, Post Office Box 951, Union, South Carolina 29379; or to a charity of one’s choice.

A private burial service will be held at a later date.
