Barney Beach

Mr. Barney Wayne Beach, 65, of Walterboro, passed away Friday evening, July 28, 2023, at his residence.

Born April 5, 1958, in Colleton County, he was a son of the late Donald Beach and Jacqueline Smoak Pellum.  He retired from Dayco where he worked for over 40 years.  After retirement from Dayco, he went to work at Pioneer Boats in Walterboro, where he worked in shipping.  Barney loved being outdoors, enjoyed fishing, was outgoing and loved his Clemson Tigers.

Surviving are: his siblings, Donna Beach Overland Burgess, Mike Beach, and Angie Beach Smith, all of Walterboro; and his niece, Stephanie Overland and her children, Johnny and Shyanne.

Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock, Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  Interment will follow in Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
