Mrs. Barbara Staedtler Thomas, of Columbia, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 8, 2016, at Pruitt Health Care Center in Barnwell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Friday, February 12, 2016 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Barnwell. Interment will be held at 3 pm, Friday at Greenlawm Memorial Park, Columbia.
Born June 18, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Emil George Staedtler and Elizabeth Frances Staedtler. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and homemaker.
Surviving are: her son-in-law, George Doyle Heath, Jr. of Olar; grandchildren, George Doyle Heath, III of Olar, Ashley Little of Columbia and Kimberly Flake of Columbia; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Thomas, Sr.; son, Harold R. Thomas, Jr.; daughters, Barbara Ann Thomas Willis and Anita Thomas Heath; grandson, Thomas Perry Heath; and a sister, Katherine S. Corbett.
