Biography
Mrs. Barbara Lopez Teeling, 67, Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Colleton Medical Center.
Graveside funeral services will be held 3 pm, Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Glendale Memorial Cemetery, Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Mrs. Teeling was born May 13, 1946 in Manhattan, New York and was a daughter of the late Jesus Lopez and Sylvia Harris Lopez. She was a retail store manager in New York for many years before moving to Walterboro. She was a wonderful cook; but will be remembered most as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are: her husband, William Teeling of Walterboro; children, William Edward Mangrum of Florida, Marlene Ann Crosby (Jason) of Walterboro, Philip Eric Teeling (Trisha Jackson) of New York and Shana Writesel (Stephen) of Ruffin; four that she loved as her own, Brian Stiassney of New York, Lisa Mauldin of Florida, Sally Grace Longtin of New York, and Casey Thomas of Walterboro; brother, Stanley Lopez of New York; sisters, Loretta Rituno of Walterboro and Rosellen Decker of New York; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchildren.
