Barbara Pinckney

Mrs. Barbara Clare Pinckney, 78, of Walterboro, entered into rest eternal Friday, July 26, 2024. She was the wife of the late Thomas Montgomery.

She was born December 28, 1945, in Boston Massachusetts.  Barbara was a former dental assistant and always a devoted caregiver to her family.   She was a communicant of Saint Anthony Roman Catholic Church and will always be remembered for her love of watching cooking shows.

Surviving are: two daughters, Clare Barbara Straub (Kevin) of Saint George and Tracy Marie Luna of Walterboro; six grandchildren, Justine Cordova, Ashley Tindall, Daryl Dewey (Victoria), Leah Glennon, Chelsea Glennon, and Cheynn Straub; and seven great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Patrick Dewey; a brother, Eddie Kay; and a sister, Irene DeCasa.

At this time and in accordance with her wishes, a funeral mass will not be held.  She will however, be entombed at Glendale Memorial Chapel Mausoleum in Walterboro.
