Barbara Myers Bennett

Mrs. Barbara Ellen Myers Bennett, 88, of Walterboro, entered into rest Wednesday evening, June 9, 2026, at her residence with her beloved family at her side.  She was the wife of the late Mr. Roy Allen Bennett and was a retiree of the former Sky City that operated in Walterboro for countless years. 

A full obituary is forthcoming, but the funeral will be conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, June 14, 2026, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  Interment will follow in Weslegacy Cemetery on the family property off the Green Pond Highway.  The family will receive friends from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock Saturday evening at the funeral home.
