Barbara Crosby Hiott

Mrs. Barbara Ann Crosby Hiott, 73, of Walterboro, entered into rest Wednesday morning, August 18, 2021, at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Born May 21, 1948, in Walterboro, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late James R. Crosby and the late Janie Hiers Crosby.   She was  a devoted homemaker and will always be remembered as a very loving person with a heart of gold.   She was a member of Doctor’s Creek Baptist Church in Walterboro.

Surviving are: her husband of fifty-three years, Mr. Monnie Hiott, Jr.; a brother, James Crosby; two she loved as her children, Melissa Clark (Thomas) of Georgia and Earl Hiott (Terri Hiers) of Walterboro; and several nieces and nephews as well as a large host of extended family.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
