Barbara Griffith

Biography

Mrs. Barbara Marie Griffith, 58, of Varnville, entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Hampton Regional Medical Center. She was formerly married to the late Raymond Lambert and to the late Frank Curtis Griffith.

Mrs. Griffith was born June 1, 1953 in San Francisco, California and was a daughter of Cecil Neeley and Bernadette D. Neeley. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hampton. She enjoyed decorative painting and crocheting, but will always be remembered as someone who never met a stranger and her ability to always make someone laugh and warm the hearts of others. She was generous and giving to all and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are: her children, James Curtis Griffith of Reno, Nevada, Nicolas Edward Cuevas of Varnville, Anita Bernadette Hayes of Varnville, Amelia Elizabeth Cuevas of San Francisco, California and Monica Grace Lambert of Varnville; brothers, Steve Neeley of Paradise, California and Father Peter Neeley of Arizona; sisters, Peggy Purkerson of Brownsville, Oregon and Maureen Neeley of Long Beach, California; and 7 grandchildren.
