Biography

Mrs. Barbara Clark Crosby, 58, of Santee, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Palmetto Richland Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 4 o'clock, Friday, August 3, 2012 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will follow in Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery.

Mrs. Crosby was born January 17, 1954 in Summerton and was a daughter of the late Lewis Clark and Margie Mabry Clark. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who centered her life around her family.

Surviving are: her husband, Ronald Eugene Crosby of Santee; children, Jenny Rebecca Williams of Beaufort, Ronald Eugene Crosby, Jr. of Hampton, Rose Marie Crosby of Alcolu, Roxanne Dukes Young of Alcolu and Samantha Renee Carter of Oklahoma; brothers, Lewis Clark of Hampton and Steve Clark of Varnville; sister, Elizabeth McClary of Lena; and grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Williams, Tiffany JoAnn Williams, Ronald Eugene Crosby, III, Caylee Cheyenne Crosby, Willie Albert Bennett, Jr., Henry Michael Bennett, Heather Marie Bennett, Austin Paul Dukes, Brandon Zachery Dukes, Madison Michelle Young, Savannah Faith Young, Samuel Lee Carter, and Stephanie Renee Carter. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Kay Clark; and a sister, Sylvia Youmans.
