Awilder Peeples

Mrs. Awilder Willie Bowers Peeples, 69, widow of Mr. Eddie Peeples, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 13, 2009, at Trident Medical Center. Mrs. Peeples was born January 25, 1940 in Hampton County and was a daughter of the late John Ulmer Bowers and Mattie Mae Brunson Bowers. She was a member of the Varnville First Baptist Church and a former member of the Nixville Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Embler Door Company. She loved listening to gospel music. She loved her family and was the most caring and loving person that one could know.



Funeral services will be held at 4:PM Monday, August 17, in the Nixville Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Creason and Rev. Dr. Tommy Kelly officiating. Burial will be in the Peeples Cemetery.



Surviving are: two daughters, Lynn Gray and Mattie Peeples both of Varnville, daughter in law, Regina Peeples of Varnville, brother, Jimmy Bowers and wife, Doris, of Estill, grandchildren, Sgt. Anthony Freeman, Rick Peeples, Hailey Gray, Senior Airman Tiffancy Peeples, Ray Collins and Marcus Gray and great grandchildren, Dalerie Freeman, Natalie Freeman and Kaylie Blake. She was predeceased by her son, Eddie M. Rickie Peeples and sisters, Beaulah Prince and Catherine Wooten.
