Ashlyn Miller Lanham

Funeral services for Ms. Ashlyn Rebecca Miller Lanham, age 32, who entered into rest Tuesday morning, November 1, 2022, will be conducted at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon, November 12, 2022, from North Walterboro Baptist Church, 2177 Jefferies Highway, Walterboro.   The Reverend Roger Maxwell and The Reverend Curtis Pettit officiating.

Born September 6, 1990, in Walterboro, South Carolina, Ashlyn was currently residing and working in the Metro Atlanta area.  She was a ligation and defense paralegal at Dennis Cory Smith and Dixon Law Firm.  Ashlyn was an extraordinarily bright and educated person, who possessed great artistic abilities.  She could accomplish anything that she set her mind too.  She was a member of North Walterboro Baptist Church and always loved and relished the holiday seasons as they came and went each year.

Keep her memories alive in your heart.  Remember her smile and uncanny ability to always have the right words for any situation.   In her own quote, “Love yourself and don’t lose yourself, because I love you and you matter”.  Make the memory you hold of her in your heart matter as much as you mattered to her.

She is survived by her parents, Lauri and Glen Seigler of Walterboro and Craig Miller (Kim Glaze) of Covington, Georgia; her four-year-old son, Finn Lanham; two brothers, Andrew Seigler (Nataly) of Lexington and Jacob Seigler (Jordan) of Cayce; and a sister, Susanna Seigler of Charleston.   She is also survived by two grandmothers, Susan Bailey and Marie Miller both of Walterboro; and aunts and uncles, Byron and Kim Miller, Tara and Dale Cobble, Cathi and Jeff Shuman, Mark and Susan Seigler, and Paul and Sherry Seigler; as well as several cousins and host of well-loved extended family members.   She was preceded in death by Finn’s father, Corey Paul Lanham; and grandparents, Larry Bailey, Don Miller, and David and Tressa Seigler.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be directed in her memory to: Black Bear Lodge, 310 Black Bear Ridge, Sautee Nacoochee, GA 30571.
