Mr. Robert Arnold Sineath,Sr. , 84, of 1401 Sineath Road, entered into eternal rest Friday, February 24, 2012 at his residence. He was the husband of Sharon Smith Sineath.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm, Monday, February 27, 2012, at Adnah United Methodist Church, Islandton, SC with the Rev. Dale Andrews and Rev. David Cox officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Sineath was born December 3, 1927 in Islandton and was the son of the late Robert Wilson Sineath and Dora Bishop Sineath. He was a retired District Administrator of the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. He was a life long member of Adnah United Methodist Church. His Lord and church was his passion. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. His mission in life was to share his flowers and vegetables and visit the sick and ones that were confined to home or health facilities. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving are: his wife of 46 years, Sharon Smith Sineath, children, Maryanne Phillips and her husband, Rusty of Ruffin, Robert "Robbie" Arnold Sineath, Jr. and his wife, Angel of Pendleton, SC and Adoria Cannon of Anderson, SC and six grandchildren.
