Arnold Jones

Mr. Arnold Tootsie Jones, 63, of Islandton, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at his residence.



Funeral services will be held 11 am, Friday, July 3, 2009, at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Adnah United Methodist Church Cemetery.



Mr. Jones was born December 23, 1945 in Colleton County and was a son of the late Herman and Aline Polk Jones. He was a member of Adnah United Methodist Church and was a carpenter. He enjoyed being on his tractor and planting his garden; and playing with his dog, Pee Wee.



Surviving are: his wife Louise Johnson Jones; step daughters, Deborah Tarrant of Islandton and Denise Meadows and her husband Maynor of West Virginia; 4 step grandchildren; 1 step great grandchild; and a special friend, Ned Martin of Lodge. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Raez.
