Annie Hallex

Mrs. Annie Canady Hallex, 89, of Ravenel, gained her wings on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at her residence.  She was the widow of the late James Rodgers Hallex, Sr.

Born October 16, 1930 in Adams Run and was a daughter of the late John Canady and Laura Cales Canady.  She was a faithful and devoted member of Memorial Baptist Church.  Mrs. Annie loved taking care of children and loved gardening.  She will always be remembered as a ray of sunshine, always a happy person and for the love she had for her family.

Surviving are: her children, Patty Cowhig of Ravenel, James R. Hallex, Jr. of Savannah, Georgia, Catherine Noviskey of Greenville, and Margaret Chapman of Ravenel; sister, Sandra Loper of Jacksonville, Florida; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Friday, November 15, 2019 at Memorial Baptist Church, 5948 Martin Street, Ravenel.  Interment will follow in Ravenel Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 at Memorial Baptist Church.
