Anna Kreighbaum

d. January 20, 2011

Pastor Anna Laverne Kreighbaum, affectionately known by many as Sister Ann, age 71, of Canadys, entered into her state of eternal rest Thursday morning, January 20, 2011, at her residence under the care of Southern Care Hospice. She was the wife of the late Mr. Dennis Harmon Kreighbaum.

A celebration of her life will be celebrated 3 o'clock, Sunday afternoon, January 23, 2011, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony.

Pastor Kreighbaum was born August 22, 1939, in Jasonville, Indiana and was a daughter of the late William Long and the late Sadie Harvey Long. She loved the Lord with all her heart and devoted her life to her service. She was a Pentecostal Holiness Minister having served for many years at My Fathers House in Cottageville and retired from the ministry while serving Bacon Bridge Church in Summerville where her membership resided at her death. Her testimony of God to others took her on several mission trips over seas.

Surviving are: two sons, Dennis Wayne Kreighbaum and William Scott Kreighbaum both of Walterboro; two daughters, Terri Ann Gallagher and Beth Marie Tolliver both of Walterboro; and two sisters, Alice Ruminski of Buffalo, Michigan and Alberta Kuhnel of Cottageville. There are twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren that also survive.

Flowers will be accepted, or for those that wish, the family has respectfully requested that memorial contributions be directed to the charity of ones choice.
