Anita Heath

Mrs. Anita Thomas Heath, of Olar, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 17, 2016, at Trident Medical Center.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Barnwell. Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in the Ehrhardt Cemetery.
Born February 26, 1948 in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of Barbara Stadtler Thomas and the late Harold R. Thomas. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She graduated from Cardinal Newman High School in Columbia and attended Montreat Anderson College in Black Mountain, NC.
Surviving are: her loving husband, George D. Heath, Jr. of Olar; mother, Barbara S. Thomas of Olar; son, George D. Heath, III of Olar; and sister-in-law, Jane H. Owens of Little River. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Perry Heath; brother, Harold R. Thomas, Jr.; and sister, Barbara Ann Willis.
