Mrs. Angela Crosby Selix, affectionately known by all as Angel, age 40, of Madison Square Gardens in Charlotte, North Carolina, entered into rest following a courageous battle for her life Wednesday afternoon, February 18, 2015, at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
Funeral services will be conducted 4 oclock Tuesday afternoon, March 3, 2015, from the graveside in Live Oak Cemetery, South Jefferies Boulevard, Walterboro.
Born May 14, 1974 in Charleston, South Carolina, and was a daughter of the late Katherine Thurston and the late John Crosby. Angel was a beautifully gifted person who accomplished many of her dreams in life. She loved computers and the information age. She was an information technology coordinator for Belk Corporate and was also an information technology operations analyst for Insight Global all in Charlotte. Her smile and drive for life will always be remembered along with her love of music and the joy that she brought to others.
Surviving are: her husband, Gary Selix; a son, Gary James Selix; an uncle, Kenny Thurston and his wife Libby of Walterboro; and two aunts, Deborah Thurston Walker and her husband Russell of Saint George and Sandra Thurston Cox and her husband Clifford of Walterboro. There is a beloved host of cousins as well as cherished friends that also survive.
