Alvin Ramsey

Mr. Alvin Wayne Ramsey, 51, of Walterboro, died Saturday, May 29, 2010, at his residence.



Funeral services will be conducted 2 oclock Wednesday afternoon, June 2, 2010, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro with The Reverend Gerald Mabry officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer United Methodist Churchyard, 1150 Possum Corner Road, Walterboro.



Mr. Ramsey was born June 23, 1958, in Colleton County and was a son of Mrs. Patty Bazzle Ramsey and the late Alvin Ramsey. He was a former track hoe operator and construction worker and was a member of Hendersonville Baptist Church. He had a avid love for working in his yards as well as the Clemson Tigers.



Surviving in addition to his mother of Walterboro are: his wife, Mrs. Karen Teusch Ramsey; two children, Alvin Wayne Ramsey, Jr. and Haley Danielle Ramsey both of Walterboro; a brother, Ronald Ramsey of Walterboro; a sister, Terry Lewis of Walterboro; and a grandchild, Christian Dylan Ramsey.
