Alvin Ramsey, Jr

Mr. Alvin Wayne Ramsey, Jr., affectionately known by all as “A.J.”, age 25, of Runner Lane, Walterboro, entered into rest Friday, December 6, 2013.

Funeral services will be conducted 6 o’clock Wednesday evening, December 11, 2013, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.

The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony until 8 o’clock that evening in the Harbiston Stateroom of the Mortuary.

Born October 25, 1988, a native of Charleston, he was a lifelong resident of Walterboro where he worked in the residential construction industry. He was the only son of Mrs. Karen Tuesch Ramsey and the late Mr. Alvin Wayne Ramsey, Sr. who died in 2010. A.J. in his earlier years had attended Hendersonville Baptist Church, which has been his family’s church for many years. He loved the Clemson Tigers and also enjoyed fishing.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Walterboro are: a sister, Haley Danielle Ramsey of Walterboro; and his grandmother, Mrs. Patty Bazzle Ramsey of Walterboro.
