Alma Malphrus

COLUMBIA- Mrs. Alma Tally Sineath Malphrus, 88, of Columbia, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 24, 2009 at her grandsons residence.



Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Great Swamp Baptist Church in Ridgeland. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.



Mrs. Malphrus was born May 18, 1921 the daughter of Haskell and Senie Sineath. She was the widow of Mr. Thomas Jefferson Malphrus. She was a retired bookkeeper from Carolina Childrens Home in Columbia.



Surviving are: her step-sons, Thomas J. Malphrus, Jr. of Basking Ridge, New Jersey and Page Malphrus of Springfield, South Carolina; and three step-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
