Biography

Mr. Allen Marion Clark, affectionately known by all as "Booger", age 62, entered into rest Sunday evening, March 8, 2015, at his home on Seigler Drive in Walterboro.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, March 11, 2015, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend John Harbin officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.

Born April 23, 1952, in Charleston, he was a son of the late Marion Melvin Clark and the late Evelyn Beylotte Clark. He served in the South Carolina National Guard. For many years, he was employed by Thomas Berry Construction, and then worked as a caretaker at Big Survey Plantation until retiring in 2012. Mr. Clark will be fondly remembered for his love of the outdoors, always enjoying fishing, shrimping and crabbing. He also loved a good game of poker and the greatest pastime in his life was spending time with his family. He was a member of the Walterboro Church of God.

Surviving are: his wife of forty-two years, Mrs. Donna Seigler Clark; three children, Robin Ackerman and her husband James of Round O, ,Benjamin Allen "Bubba" Clark (Misty Herndon) of Walterboro, and Brenda Clark (Adam Demers) of Ravenel; one whom he loved as his adopted son, Charles "Lil Bubba" Clark of Walterboro; and six siblings, Charlene Frazier (George) of Walterboro, Terry Pattison (Joey) of Walterboro, Michael Clark of Walterboro, Debbie Miranda (Martin) of Ladson, Larry Colson (Kathy) of Walterboro, and Rose Marie Suddith of Minnesota. There are eight grandchildren, Aryn, Gina, Ezekiel, McKenna, Chloe, Bryan, Ashlyn, and Hunter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
