JACKSONVILLE, FL – Mrs. Alice Hoff Lillibridge, 85, of Jacksonville, Florida, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the devoted wife of fifty years to the late Robert “Bob”, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and cherished memories.

Born August 4, 1940, in Cottageville, South Carolina, Alice was the daughter of the late Hugo O'Neil Hoff and Annie Mae Hickman Hoff. She was a woman of remarkable strength, determination, and an unwavering work ethic. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to serving others through her work in the medical field. She spent many years as an x-ray technician before serving as Assistant Hospital Administrator at DePoo Hospital in Key West, Florida, and later as Office Manager for Dr. Seymour Morse, an orthopedic surgeon. Never one to slow down, Alice also successfully operated her own private investigation and accounts collection business until the age of 70. At that time, she retired to devote herself to the care and attention of her.

While her professional accomplishments were many, it was the way she lived her life that left the greatest impression on those fortunate enough to know her. Alice possessed a vibrant spirit and a joy for life that was contagious. She loved music, dancing, laughter, meaningful conversation, and spending time with her loved ones. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, heard, and loved, and her warmth and sense of humor brightened countless lives.

Alice was raised in the Christian faith at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Cottageville, South Carolina, a church that remained close to her heart throughout her life. Her faith, resilience, and compassion were evident in the way she cared for others and navigated life's joys and challenges.

Above all else, Alice treasured her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to her only daughter, Myra Lynn Lillibridge DeBiase, and a beloved mother-in-law to Mark DeBiase. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to August (Augie) DeBiase, Markie DeBiase, and Sophia DeBiase, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy. Family was the heart of Alice's life, and some of her happiest moments were those spent laughing, talking, and making memories with the people she loved most. While she will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely and the beautiful memories she leaves behind will live on in the hearts of her family forever.

Alice lived a long, meaningful, and joyful life filled with purpose, adventure, and love. She touched the lives of many people and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, laughter, and unwavering loyalty to those she loved. Her impact will continue to be felt through the countless lives she touched and the many cherished memories she leaves behind.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 o’clock, Thursday afternoon, June 25, 2026, from Spring Hill Baptist Church, 1671 Rehoboth Road, Cottageville. Interment will follow in the Fox Cemetery, 2771 Wesley Grove Road, Round O.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral ceremony beginning at 11 o’clock.
