Alexina Martin

Mrs. Alexina Zig Linder Martin, 83, of Ashton Road, Lodge, died Friday, February 18, 2011 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. She was the widow of Woodrow Wilson Martin



Funeral services will be held 11 am, Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Carters Ford Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.



Mrs. Martin was born May 11, 1927 in Colleton County and was a daughter of the late Ansel and Ella Nobles Linder. She was a member of Carters Ford Baptist Church. Zig will always be remembered for the love she had for her community, her church, her friends and her family.



Surviving are: her children, Pat Snookie Bobbert and her husband Rich of Parker, PA, Woodrow Martin, Jr. and his wife Claire of Lodge, Joe Martin and his wife Monica of Lodge and Pam Steppe and her husband Harris of Santee; sister, Eloise Robertson of Ruffin; 15 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Carters Ford Baptist Church.
