Alexander William Goodman

Mr. Alexander William Goodman, 90, of Eutawville, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.  He was the husband of the late Janna Louise Lindberg Goodman.

Born January 14, 1932 in Montreal, Quebec Canada, he was the son of the late Alexander C.W. Goodman and Winnifred Harper Goodman.    He was a retired On-ice Referee for the Atlantic Coast Hockey League (ACHL).  Mr. Al was a faithful member at The Historic Church of the Epiphany.  He loved and treasured his dog, Bobbi Jo.  Al was competitive and enjoyed Hocky, Rodeo, Golf, and playing cards.  His favorite places to visit with good friends were Bell’s Marina, Mac Daddy’s, and never missed a Taco Tuesday at Armando’s.  Al lived a full life and insisted on living it every day, and he would tell you to do the same.

Surviving are: granddaughter, Rebecca Goodman of Arkansas; niece, Kelly Arthur Berger (Rolfe) and Leighanna and Chris of Burlington, Ontario; nephew, Roy Arthur (Daphne) and Ryan of Hamilton, Ontario; stepsons, John Oakes (Nancy) of Buffalo, New York, Peter Barbalato and Shawn, Aaron, and Brianna of Buffalo, New York; and special friends, his church family: Roger and Ruby Adkins, Bobbi Jo Taylor, and Donald and Janice Brady.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be directed in his memory to: The Historic Church of the Epiphany, Post Office Box 9, Eutawville, South Carolina 29048.

A graveside service will be held 2 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, February 19, 2022 at The Historic Church of the Epiphany (Churchyard), 12065 Old Number Six Highway, Eutawville, South Carolina 29048.
