Aimee Lauren Johnson, 57, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Born September 30, 1968, in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur Lawton Johnson and Marilyn Farrell Johnson. She was a member of Bedon Baptist Church. Aimee was a longtime employee of Jaxco and associate of Handyman’s Landscaping. She loved fishing and Clemson football. Most of all, she loved her family and had a heart of gold.

Surviving are: her brothers, Kenny Johnson and his wife Susan of Walterboro and Todd Johnson of Charleston; her very special friend, Carolyn Powell; daughter, Tabatha Powell and her three children; nieces and nephews, Nicole Johnson Crosby and her husband Nick, Courtney Johnson Araneo and her husband Chad, Justin Evans, and Kerry Michael Canady; as well as a host of great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three children, Brett, Hunter, and Caroline.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Aimee’s memory to: FOCCAS, 33 Poor Farm Road, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday afternoon, March 14, 2026, from 3 until 5 at the Bedon Baptist Church Family Life Center, 2410 Cottageville Highway, Walterboro.
